Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Lead will:

• Assist the Production Supervisor in the daily management of product output and quality.
• Provide direction and training to the first line staff.
• Offer feedback on performance levels and concerns.
• Provide hands on production support as is needed.
• Stage product at work stations.
• Complete required paperwork/documentation for production levels, quality gaps, and communications.
• Act as interim supervisor during times of brief absence of the Production Supervisor.
• Assist the Production Supervisor in identifying labor demands to optimize production output.
• Monitor production processes, ensuring the compliance of all safety procedures, regulations and guidelines.
• Communicate any equipment maintenance needs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is mandatory.

The successful candidate will have:

• High School education or equivalent.
• Two years minimum of experience in a production environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Forklift driving experience or willingness to learn.

Pay rate starts at $22.32+/hr.  The hours for this position are Sunday through Thursday 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.  Plus a $1.25 shift differential for hours between 5 pm and 5 am.  We offer a zero deductible healthcare plan, plus dental, vision, disability coverage, life insurance, 10 days PTO, 401(k) with a match, and identity theft.
