Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of industrial heat treating furnaces, vacuum washers, conveyor systems,blasting equipment, and general building maintenance.  Duties include:

• machine troubleshooting and maintenance
• metal fabrication/welding
• pipe fitting

Hours are:  7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility.    There is a $1.25/hr shift differential for all hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am.  Some overtime as needed.  There will be occassional travel to customer locations as required.  A valid driver's license is required.

The successful candidate will have:

• A high school education or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical competence.
• Basic math comprehension skills.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work OT and weekends, as needed.
• Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, repetitive motion bending and stretching, and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, with assistance.
• Minimal electrical knowledge required.
• A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with machinery.
